There’s No Such Word as Can’t

I don’t often write about my Dad (I’m working on it!!) but this video reminded me of what he would say to me when I would whine and say “Daddy, I can’t.” He would answer calmly, “Can’t only means you won’t try.”

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been hit with some negative stuff and it sometimes makes me want to stop doing what I love to do (Daddy, I can’t do this anymore….) and then his words come back to me ever so softly and I remember.

Yes, I can.

    I often would say to my kids ” there’s no such word as can’t.” 😃🦉
