From this small physical space that is my world, I am safe. This site is a peaceful one, placed here so that you have the opportunity to find a little calm in your day. A safe place, a peaceful place, a calm place.
We need this right now. Whether it is reading a blog such as this one, spending more time in meditation, reading a novel, going for a walk, playing with our kids or our pets – we need to return to our hearts.
As the outrage or the excitement settles, find your center. Sit within that most sacred part of you and listen to what is being said.
The peace that you create for yourself is the peace that the world needs. Your safe, small world – this place where you feel protected from the perceived evils – needs to be replicated. It must be shared if this world is to stop crying.
It’s simple to do. Be kind and ask others to be kind. Make this part of your life’s work.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Ask others to be kind.
From my heart to yours, Diane
